Our In Vivo Studies
Our In Vivo studies are performed in miniaturized test system on living plant material.
We provide discriminating dosage (DD) studies with a clear YES / NO determination, or full dose-response relationship studies with EC50 calculation. Pathogen samples are collected from the field or air, and single or mixed culture isolates are prepared. We then cultivate susceptible plants, treat them with different fungicide concentrations, and inoculate leaf segments from these treated plants with the pathogen isolates. The pathogens are grown on the leaf segments placed on agar in petri dishes and subsequently evaluated by our scientists. The resulting data is analyzed for trends in resistance and adaptation, including seasonal, local, regional, and India-wide trends.
